If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Thanks for the comments.  Smiley
#3, #4, & #5 are not repaints, but part of the package. I put a note above each repaint crediting the painter. #2 is the only repaint in this part. #1 & #2 in part one are repaints.

Again great shots of the old pig boat Larry... Wink

Oh I forgot to mention this:
Most of the non pilot crews liked to fly with me on the Canso and Douglas 3s and 4s because I gave them the left seat for hours on end.  They got to fly...silly fools... Grin

Our trips were hours and hours on end, sometimes ten or more hours a stretch, that is a long time,  I would be in the galley cooking bacon, eggs, fried potatoes with onions and peppers or for a late lunch corish hens, chicken, chops and all the trimmings.
I loved cooking and the old girl would send along some home made pies and other goodies for the trip.
The company gave the Captain a voucher for food and emergency accommodations if required.  We were never short of funds.   Wink  As a crew we split up what was left after the trip...it worked well for more than twenty four years before some young lads figured the company needed a union.   Undecided

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Thanks Doug.  Smiley
Sounds like I would have enjoyed being on one of your flights. Very interesting.
