CharlieR, Your shot of that F-18 was so good, and at just the right angle, I had to borrow it.  Please don’t shot me.  That image had me thinking about the size of these modern jet fighters and also about how tiny my HD – 1 Swift is in comparison.
I rescaled one of my screen caps by comparing aircraft lengths (3.5 times shorter), and by the profiles of the pilots and the cockpit in order to place the Swift into a very tight formation (while trying not to get swallowed).  A little bit of Photoshoping later and this image below is the result.   Sort of like cruising down the freeway and a go-cart pulls up beside you.  An F-18 is 56 feet long, the Swift is only 16 feet (about the size of the cockpit of the fighter).

should have cropped out one of the tanks under the wing and put your HD-1 Swift on the pylon.   F18 carrying the Swift lol

You mean the Yokosuka MXY-7 Ohka?  The kamikaze attack rocket plane?
I had to look that one up.  Turns out my Swift is 4 feet shorter, has about two feet less wing span, is way lighter, and a lot faster.
Anyone know if the OHKA been modeled for flight sim yet?  Could be an interesting project.

Seems like it would be a short-lived project.  The only application might be storming bunkers outside of majorly troubled areas.

"Coming in to land . . . oh, wait . . . where's the gear lever?!" Tongue
