My first FSX repaint, ok, palette shift, using Piglet's fantastic Meyers 200D. I love this aircraft. Fantastic VC and unbeatable flight characteristics. Thanks to olderndirt for making me
aware of it. Got a few more things to fix, but most of the work is done. Which is better, white or yellow?

Watching paint dry is not so boring after all. At least, not using this method.  Roll Eyes

Thanks for looking.

White, yellow only looks good on the Cub.

I second that, the yellow doesn't look really good on that plane.

Patchz, Tim Conrad has made some of the best freeware models for FSX SP2 !! This Meyers 200D is just ONE of them, you have many more to discover, civilian and military. This guy is an artist  Cool

Yes, I know. I have seen a number of posts of his models. But I still have a lot of aircraft and scenery to install and I still have some bugs to work out, so it will take some time. I just downloaded Brett's 177RG, 310C, and Saab 340, as well as Alex's Citation X. Like I keep saying, so many files, so little time.  Roll Eyes
Oh yeah, I do have Piglet's Skyraider though. Thanks.  Smiley

If you haven't already, get that Orbx 'Goose' - nice one.  Your Meyers paint is more sedate than your usual, indicating your entry into the more mature FSX world.  The yellow is beyond ick but, with the other, how about that famous combination of white, red and blue.  If 'twere possible, outline the 'N' number in white.

Sedate is only because it's the first one and I have not really learned about painting in FSX yet. Gimme some time, I'll get back to my normally flamboyant themes.  Roll Eyes
Besides, had to get a new digitizer as my old one had a serial connection and Wacom no longer supports drivers for serial. Not used to the new one yet.

No, yellow one is gone. I listened to the peanut gallery.  Roll Eyes But it is a work in progress and I am taking more time with repaints these days, trying to improve the quality. Also thinking about a red, white and blue. Besides, with the new box, new FSX and no joystick, I have a lot of file work to do. I spend most of the day working on this or that. And I get tired of installing aircraft/scenery etc. and try to do a little flying with the keyboard. Not a lot of fun. But I knew going in that it would take me a while to get back to normal. Just did not expect quite so many problems.
