I am considering a new PC to run my FSX and IvAp
Is this config an overkill? .. or would it be OK

No such thing as overkill.




12gb is overkill though. Get 6gb.

Is 12GB overkill becuse FSX doesnt use it? whta the max FSX uses?

6gb of memory should be optimum.

Through the OEM website, I ran a configuration (with only 6 GB RAM as recomended by everyone here; this saves 18% below the cost of the sys originally chosen. Would this run well?

Yes.

In my opinion you should save money and just have good quality air cooling instead of water.
