Out of curiosity, whats your top 3 favorite payware aircraft and/or helicopters?
* Can be for any sim
* Doesn't have to be in order
---------------------------

I currently don't own any payware A/C, but my Most Wanted List (in order) is:
1. A2A's P-51D (I now own this)
2. VRS F/A-18E Superbug X
3. A2A Piper Cub w/ Accu-Sim

1. Aersoft Seahawk and Jayhawk
2. Aerosoft F-16
3. Abacus 787 Dreamliner

The Aerosoft Seahawk and Jayhawk or SH-60 and HH-60 is amazing.  i LOVE IT. I live in a Navy town so we have these and P-3 Orions flying around constantly.  GO NAS JAX AND NS MAYPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know people say Abacus suck and I know they do.  BUt this 787 is the bomb.  It has a sweet cabin and cockpit

1. Nemeth Designs "Mil Mi-2 Hoplite". I've owned it since 2005 and always come back to it, even after long absences. A great product.

2. Aeroworx "Beechcraft B200 Super King Air". I think I've owned this one since 2007, and it still gets a lot of use!

3. PMDG "Beech 1900C/D" Owned the C for a couple years now, and purchased the D a few months ago. Simple systems, but still a lot of fun.

hiya,

just flight Avro Vulcan
just flight Lancaster
just flight/captain sim C130

worst:
altitude concorde ( over complicated to enjoy it)
first class simulation: Eurofighter (graphics (green bars)from mfd screens overshoot onto other parts of the instrument panel and very poor sound simulation files when using spot or tower view.

One of my most enjoyable sims: sailors of the sky glider sim, but then then i do chat with the programmer  Grin

regards

Steve

So far my number of landings either passenger or pilot equal my number of takeoffs, but that is due to change Smiley

1) Alpha Sim F-86
2) Iris Avro Vulcan
3) First Class Sims Hawker Fury

The Alpha F-86 probably has one of the most basic VCs in my entire aircraft collection...but the exterior detail is so good and I find it more fun to fly than any other aircraft on FSX.

The Iris Vulcan is another great aircraft. It's difficult to fly well...and took me a little while to master the many quirks of the aircraft (must have taken me about 20 mins to find out how to start the engines up  Embarrassed Grin), but once you get the hang of it you really appreciate it. Stunning exterior too!

Finally, the FCSim Hawker Fury. It came in the 'Hawker Heroes' pack (which apart from the Fury is relatively mediocre). It's detailed (unlike the other aircraft in the pack) and it's fantastic to fly. Perfect if you want to fly low and slow.

My least favourite aircraft is the Alpha Sim F-4D Skyray. The VC is neither good nor bad...but the exterior is a bit of a let down (it was released 4 years ago). It's a bit bland to fly too. That's why I haven't touched it in about 8 months.

1. Realair Spitfire: have owned this for many years now and it never gets tiring while flying etc, especailly when you've got a few extra textures for the aircraft too.
2. Alphasim Eurofighter: Had this since i did some beta work & Beta screens for them, still one of my favorite payware military jets out there.
3. Justflight Vulcan: can't find anything wrong with this addon at all, and from what i can remember too, when you bought this either in boxed form or download form, a small amount was donated to bringing xh558 to the sky again.

Oh man, first 3 favorites?! ... That's a tough one to ask  Roll Eyes
In no particular order.

- IRIS Vulcan. I just love that plane, the VC is awesome and models are perfect. It's a tough one to fly though, she's big.
- Sibwings Bird Dog. If you like low and slow bush flights, that's the one! Great details on the VC and models as well. Some stability issues with Vista though, and tech support is so-so.
- Nemeth Design MD500. Awesome chopper to fly, fast and agile.

There are so many others though:
- A2A B17 and P47
- PMDG Jet4100
- Aerosoft F16, Twin Otter, and Catalina
- Vertigo Sim SBD Dauntless
- FSaddon Lysander
And so many others...
I'm addicted  Cheesy

2. Quest Kodiak (want this one)
3. Carenado Bush 185 package (got this one)
I reserve the right to change my mind at any time for any reason, and probably will when I get a few more in the hangar.  Roll Eyes Grin

The list of the one's I want might go over the thread limit.  Roll Eyes

Aerosoft F16
PMDG MD11
CS MD80

Not necessarily in that order, depends on the day and my mood.

When I get around to buying the VR FA18 one of those, if not all three, is probably going to get bumped down a notch

I have too much payware to count... had I saved my money I might be able to buy myself a spaceship  Cheesy.

Anyway, my top 3 are:
1.) Aeroworx King Air B200
2.) Level-D 767-300
3.) Pulled between the Real Air SF260, Aerosoft Beaver, Aerosoft Katana, or the Carenado Cessna 182RG.

Cheers,
RB
