What part of the scenery are you referring to?  Airports, Objects, Land class, mesh, roads, or something else and is this for FS9 or FSX?

I wanted to try something other than airports. I started using your ADE last weekend. And I like it. But I have a lot to learn.

Bob,

It would still help to know which sim you're using, FS2004 or FSX?

Many of the scenery design programs and tutorials apply specifically to  one or the other.

FS2004 and FSX..

Probably the most comprehensive design tool for both is Sbuilder. There are versions for FS2004 and FSX available here-http://www.ptsim.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=4.... The site includes links to tutorials and support for Sbuilder.

You'll also find tutorials and support for many design tools and concepts at FSDeveloper-http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/index.php

There are tutorials at Scenery Hall of Fame-http://www.scenery.org/tutorials.htm-including several for SBuilderX.

For scenery object placement---Like ADE, SBuilder allows object placement on the 2d workspace. If you do a lot of object placement the Flight1-Instant Scenery payware program is excellent. The 'live view' makes it much easier to place and align objects. http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=instscen. FS2004 and FSX
