Guess if I can't get my scenery back in FS9 yet, I'll just post some quick shots from the FSX demo. I can't really tell how they look with this monitor facing the desktop.  Sad

Maybe, but it's a great picture. I noticed it earlier. I like.  Smiley

What's really strange and is going to take some getting use to, is that my sig goes all the way across the screen and takes up two lines. On my old monitor, it probably would have four or five. Flying is a little strange too. But I'm loving it. ...

By the time I start line two, I've pretty much forgotten what was on line one  Smiley.  Lookin' good.

Thanks Doug.  Smiley
If I can figure it all out, it's ordered. Hope I don't have the same scenery problem with it that I do with FS9.

New computer + "scenery problems" = Windows 7

With Windows7, there is a common bug that prevents everybody from adding sceneries to the scenery library in the usual way.

But there is a workaround, a special sequence of actions (clicks) to perform to force the selection of the scenery folder. Just make a search on the forum, the problem is VERY well known. Every single Win7 user has experienced it.

What Daube said.
I finally was able to add some of them, but anything that has just a scenery file and no texture file, is still a no go. There are some things about 7 I like, but others, not so much. It could stand a lot of improvement.
I miss windows 95.  Sad

Thanks Daube, but that is for FSX and does not work for FS9. But I will need in a week or so when my FSX arrives.

I thought that might have been the issue, I have Win 7 too... If you need help with the workaround (For FSX that is!) just let me know, though I think its been discussed in depth in a topic somewhere here...

I'm not sure about what to do with FS9 though  Sad
