G'day guys,

Has anyone else had this problem?

For a couple of days now, whenever I download real weather at Kastrup, Copenhagen, Denmark, it comes up with heavy snow, very low visibility and thunderstorms.

A couple of seconds after the flight loads, I get a CTD.

This doesn't happen when I don't DL the weather and start at Copenhagen on a nice sunny day at 15 degrees C.

Just a quick test around Europe (Riga, Frankfurt, Paris, etc) real weather doesn't cause crashes - nor is it as heavy (snow/thunderstorms/low vis) as Copenhagen.

Is it just the VERY bad weather that FS9 can't handle?
Cheers
Stew

G'day Captain,

Only Win7 cycles a progress bar through "Windows is searching for the cause of the problem" and then comes up with nothing...

I'll keep testing it this weekend, Sir

Cheers

Hi Stewy,
Have you tried manually setting up the same weather conditions in the same area to see if it is scenery problem?

I'm no longer on the internet so currently cannot check for the weather but also the weather will be getting milder, you may not get the same conditions till next winter.

Steve

So far my number of landings either passenger or pilot equal my number of takeoffs, but that is due to change Smiley

I've had problems with real-world weather where it'd CTD during the middle of the download, but that was due to a Microsoft server error...which doesn't seem to be the case here.
I'd try Steve's suggestion. Good luck!
