I've recently come in contact with some historical books involving carrier ops in the pacific.  Good stuff for potential missions.  I would like to do something with the TBF/TBM Avengers.  My question is which Avenger seems to be the most popular lately?  There are many at Simviation to choose from.  So if I upload a mission, I would like to make it user friendly.

There are few choices out there....lots of repaints of the stocker, B-24 Guy's overhaul of the stocker (page 104 of CFS2 old downloads) and Dave Eckert's TBM for both FS2000 and CFS2.  Undecided

I have Dave's plane, but can't remember where it's still posted.  If you can't find it, let me know and I'll send you a copy.  Sad

In fact, I was thinking of doing a new one from scratch....just to have a new one to go with my MK XIII torpedo.  Wink

Maybe someone else knows of others.  Questioning Questioning

Why build it from scratch. You could take the Dave Eckert source and just fix it up some . . . .
You can get the source from his site (or Freeflight design)

I would bet Sopwith could make some good skins for it too . . .

I do have that source file stashed away......and Sopwith would certainly like to paint her.  Smiley

AND I think Bismarck13 just volunteered to do the DVC.  Grin
