Bf110 Takeoff Tips (Read 247 times)

Takeoffs in the TR_Bf110C can be a nightmare, if you don't handle your throttles properly.   The problem is that the 110C's engines develop max torque effect at RPMs below 1800, so you get the most torque as you start your takeoff roll.  Undecided

The way to handle this is to set your brakes, go to full throttle slowly and release brakes at 1800 RPM.  You'll have no problems with torque, if you do this.  Smiley

I believe that Bis's F models will need to be handled in a similar manner.  Cool

Glad that helped....the 110 is so easy to oversteer if you have to get into a torque fight.   Grin

I just uploaded a package of several gauges that were inadvertently left out of the V3 and V4 packages.   You can easily overlook their absence, but they're nice to have, and should be up by tomorrow.  Cool
