I don't believe so. At least, for FS9 . . . FSX might be different.

FS9 or FSX?
It is possible for FS9. There are a few FS9 add-on object libraries that use 'single plane-rotate to aircraft' models. They work (rotate) fine in FSX, but suffer from the transparency issue imposed by FSX SP2/Accel.
How?..beyond my knowledge.
I have read that the method in FS9 was to use the 'MDL Tweeker' utility to add the 'rotate to aircraft' attribute to FS9 SDK models. MDL Tweeker will not work with FSX models.
You should visit
http://www.fsdeveloper.com/
forums. That's where many of the design experts hang out/collaborate and the best place to have design questions answered. If you do ask for help there, be specific with your question(s) and include your sim version and what design tools you are or will be using.
MDL Tweeker is available at fsdeveloper.
