With scenery folders like Vic plus, I think the priority suggested by the developer is the one.  Having said that, UT recommends that their landclass be lower priority than terrain - go figure.  Fozzer has the ideal attitude - if it looks good and suits you, go with it.

There's an option about using Victoria plus & I didn't use it, just the one for CYYJ, which is a beautiful bit of work.
I also have a nice Vancouver, Penticton & Kelowna & a Castlegar with my custom AI....I like that part of the world  Tongue

I'm a bit partial to that area as well......or maybe I should say this area  Wink
I would strongly suggest that you try out vic plus as well the CYYJ scenery it is a pretty impressive transition of the entire south-end of the island....and islands (including numerous private grass strips  Cool)

Thanks for the link.  I've had a quick look & see a new CYJJ is on offer!   I am, however, thinking of ditching FS9 due to my new grahpics problem.  I'm fed up with items vanishing & popping up again & as I can't fix it FS9 is no longer fun  Huh Sad

I found that using the built-in scenery library doesn't always load correctly even though the order appears to be correct.

Use Scenery Manager 2004 (available at avsim.com). Much more accurate than the Scenery Library. It also allows you to verify that the scenery is coming to the sim in the shortest path. I was shocked at some of my entries when I first started using it! Now most files load within three paths.

I have started leaving add-ons off EXCEPT the scenery/airports that I am departing from and arriving at. No reason to have Paris VFR/CDG loading if I am flying from Atlanta to Vancouver. My entire system is snappier and FS9 loads instantly.

Give it a try!

I'll give Scenery Manager a try - thanks for the tip.

I'm intrigued about your un-ticking add-ons.....I wondered if I should try that so have been doing it to a lot of them.   I'll do a few more as I tend to get interested in one area at a time.
It's the Western Isles of Scotland right now, tidying airports & adding services, etc.   Heathrow & SeaTac might get a look-in a few months from now but if the vanishing items continue then not again ever......I'll let you know how Scenery Manager does but still wonder why my scenery was A1 without it until recently   Huh  Roll Eyes
