ok, who has seen this before, and just what exactly do I need to do to fix it!?

appearantly, I guess one of the default planes got messed up (although I dont know how as I have not been messing around in any of the default folders.)

and do NOT tell me that I need to reinstall!!!! UGHHHHHHH I have over 100 addon craft that I do NOT want to go back through and reinstall everything over again!

Nevermind. I moved the FS9.CFG and FS9.cfg.TXT files from their hiding place, and put em on the desktop and then just let FS9 rebuild a new one.  Everything "SEEMS" to be functioning within normal parameters for the time being.

The aircraft for your default flight is was missing or damaged (couldn't find the correct 'title=' entry in any aircraft.cfg).

If it ever happens again, open FS9.cfg and find [USERINTERFACE] and the line 'SITUATION=" and remove the entry on the line. The sim will revert to the 'default' default, Cessna 172 at KSEA.

Will save you having to redo all other setting on a new FS9.cfg.
