You may have an incompatible F-86 version.

I had the same difficulty.....then I saw there was an upgrade/fix for its 'condition'.

One version is the "Slats" edition, and the other is not. You may have the "Slats".

If I remember correctly, the non-Slats is the one that has a panel and/or texture fix that is FSX compatible. The main difference is that the non- version does not have slat control capability......
