Visual damage for FSX (Read 3313 times)

Hello, I just got FSX.
I know FS2004 aka FS9 have that Visual Damage feature, but is it a mod that can allow me to use Visual Damage on FSX?
I know the planes aren't modelled on FSX to do that, so I need a mod for it.
Do you know if there are any?

well, being that most FS9 planes still do work in FSX, you could always add

visual_damage=1

to the aircraft.cfg under each [fltsim.X] section ABOVE [General]



this way, your FS9 planes in FSX will still show damage when you hit something and before you explode.   as for TRUE FSX Native craft .... if its not modeled, it wont break up.

Yeah, no default FSX aircraft have visual damage. Whether or not you can make a FSX model from scratch with visual damage, I do not know. I put up a question in the 3D design forum about this today.
