Yeah, my face hurts as hell when I walk outside. It is friggin cold.
What is this, Hawaii?
"Do I want to go outside in -18 degrees celcius? Nah, I don't think so. I'll just run back inside and go lay down on the bathroom floor."
But this place does look kind of nice.. I have to admit that.
Sorry for not getting a completely different angle, but seriously - we have like 40-50 cm of snow on the ground.
This picture is not clear (because my camera hates the nighttime), but you get the point.
So, are anyone envious?
(Btw, in another place in Norway called Røros, they get -40 degrees celcius.. thank god I don't live there.)
PS: I have a funny story to share with you. Yesterday, when I woke up at 07:00 (I refuse to use AM/PM, it's such a stupid time system that I can never get the hang of lol), I noticed it was really cold inside my room. Then I noticed my window was open. It had been open the entire night. GREAT.
My room was freezing cold. I was afraid of getting out of bed xD
But in the end I finally decided "dammit, I have to get up" and so I did..
after 5 minutes.
Also, I hate the fact that it becomes nighttime at like 15:30.
So, i'll ask again:
Are you envious?

Foz, will you be my new best friend?
All my weirdo friends says "oh wow, snow, 50 cm of it too! Frickin' awesome! Now we can have fun!"
Yeah.. fun in -20 degrees when nothing helps keep us warm..
THAT'S SO FUN!
..
..
no it's not.
I prefer sitting by my computer, looking at the trees outside that are nearly falling apart (from all the snow that's on them, of course), feeling happy for having a roof over my head and electrical power. (Yup, it hasn't broken yet - that's how awesome Norway is - nothing breaks, even if we get like -50 C..)
Seriously.
(I want to get the best grades I can in school so that I can get a well-paid job and leave this horrible place during the winter every year. That's one of my number one wants.)
I've never been a winter person.

Yet you prefer the cold, wet, miserable cloudy/rainy weather instead....?
The temperature maybe in the 20's (F) here, but atleast its sunny and bright outside...
*just checked the weather for Hereford, UK and it is currently the same temperature there that it is here in Spokane...

..Andrew, I can get out and about on my Bike in the cold, wet, miserable, rainy weather....(including Shopping)....
Snow and Ice means my Bike gets stuffed indoors, and I cant go anywhere...(and starve to death)...
...!
Paul...Minus 8 Degrees C at 8:30 in my Garden this morning... (bitterly cold at nights!)...
...!
...Brrrr....
....!
It is impossible to maintain 20 Degrees C/68-72 Degrees F (comfort temperature) in my living room all day long with the heating on!

25F here with a wind chill of 15F and an inch or so of snow on the ground.
I like the cold actually, but I hate it when it gets windy.
