I am trying to finish off the virtual cockpit and tried to make my first animated switch (for the battery master) but it didn't work.  I modeled a push switch that has a light come ON when pushed "in" and an OFF label when off "out".  I mapped one section of my texture sheet to the ON position and used the gismo to move the texture sheet for the OFF poistion in the other frame position (1 to 50), also using the partname from the Keyframe Animation Names (Interior Parts) from the MadeMDL SDK.  No luck here.  Do such switches need any entry in the CFG file or something?  The animation works nicely in GMax, but is dead in FS9.

On the other hand, a gear lever I made works great, and I can even grab it with the mouse.

Make sure you has assign the right time which should be 0-50 and
after you create the animation of the switch
you has follow something like this
make sure you are attaching Mouserect into the animated part

Ops! you are using FS9-SDK ,well its easier then just make its animation using keyframes  0-50 , make sure you set the right Pivot (affect Pivot only => then Alling to the world ) and rename the part as in FSX-SDK "switch_master_battery"

Yeap,here it is  Wink
