Since this is an FSX only problem, we can leave it here.  Smiley

The problem is, millions of FSX users all trying to log on at once to the Gamespy server's "FreeFlight" lobby, which causes it to randomly kick people, or not let them on at all.

The message you are getting is well known as well.  It means that they are full, and the spot you are trying to allocate to your computer has been taken by another person who logged on.

The only 'near fix' for this problem is to change the game lobby to something that isn't "Free Flight" and save that.  This works most of the time, but the biggest complaint there is, "well, everyone is in Free Flight" that is true, it's also what is causing the problem.

That's why we use FSHost instead of Gamespy, but that also requires a bit of effort, as you have seen.  Wink

What you do is go into your FSX cfg, scroll down to Multiplayer and were it says DefaultLobby=Freeflights change Freeflight to Fly-Ins or Competitions (these lobbys are least used), and 95% of the time you'll log right into multiplayer, than you can switch lobbys back to freeflight from there. Most of the time you'll get right in (if the servers are really busy than you'll get the disconnect message), but most of the time I usally get in. What you got to remember is to check out in a different lobby other than freeflight, or you will have to go back to the cfg to get going again.
