I have no idea how long ago he created these. Did he create the ones for the US and Southern Europe as stated in the first?

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Lennart's textures exist since quite a long time.
In fact, I was using them already 3-4 years ago.
Along with them, I used the "Alaskan Terrain Textures" pack.

Those two archives were supposed to be installed in such a way that they would impact only a certain area of the world, but I prefered to install them directly in the main generic texture folder (\scenery\world\texture, if I remember correctly), so that all the world was impacted.

Needless to say, the result was absolutely beautifull Smiley

This may be what I have been looking for. I am currently using "Howard's Mix" which is an improvement over stock FS9 but seems a bit dark. Would the lennarts_textures.zip base pack installed per your method appear lighter?

Lennarts textures combined with the Alaskan terrain textures looks very good.

Here are some examples, those are old screenshots that I did a long time ago, when I was still using FS9. The region is around concrete Mun, in the mountains next to Seattle or Vancouver.

Strange, even with the backslash error, the pictures were displayed fine in the topic....
I have edited anyway.
