Just a quick heads up.

I just ran across a great site for DC-3 fans.

http://www.douglasdc3.com/fs2004/fs2004.htm

Here you will find lots of good pictures but more importantly betters sounds, better Flight Dynamics and better effects - all designed to make the default DC-3 far more realistic and enjoyable to fly.

Did I mention there is also a flight instruction video too?

Hope DC-3 fans will find this site as useful as I have.

That's about as comprehensive as it gets.  Smiley

I'll be burning the bandwidth up tonight.  Wink

I know most people in the FS community hate the default DC-3, and prefer the MAAM one.
Honnestly, I just love the default DC-3. I loved it already in FS9, and I love it even more in FSX (the bare metal skin is especially impressive thanks to the bumpmaps).

On this website I see a DC-3 on floats ? The default DC-3 didn't have a float version, where does this one come from ?  Huh

Looks interesting, Opa - thanks very much for the link.

I've certainly avoided the df DC-3 because I found it too hard to fly - but this might inspire me to give it another go Wink

I was pretty much of the same mind as you - but after changing the FDE I am enjoying how it flies now.

The DC-3, hard to fly ?  Huh
What was problematic exctely ?
It seemed to me that the default DC-3 was very easy to fly... a little bit too easy maybe. It was slow and stable.
