I'm off on a new B-26 Marauder project with Sopwith Chameleon. The A model and B long-wing have been done. This will be the B model short-wing with all field mods. Lots of work to do.....Just a WIP. Undecided

She's coming along. The early block short tail B model shown here without her field mod fuselage gun pods, but sporting her new dual-.50 tail turret, deployed waist belly guns and pilot aimed nose gun....along with one of Sopwith Chameleon's many new skins for this bird. Hope to have her finished soon. Cool

Me too! Its not the only good Sim in the Market but its sure a very good one once you know how to mod it.

It still have a lot to offer thanks to Guys like TR and all the other developers of this Sim.

The four 26s from Midway were the original A models boring in at wavetop height behind a flight of Navy Avengers....throttled back to drop speed and vulnerable to everything. The crews had never trained to drop torpedoes, but the 26 was equipped with mounts on the bombay doors. Level bombing had proved ineffective and these were desperate times. No hits were scored, and two of the four were lost when two Zeros attacked the flight on their approach. The other two were heavily damaged, but managed a return to Midway. If the Avengers had not occupied most of the CAP's attention, the 26 flight would have probably been wiped out.

I, like most of us, have a love/hate relationship with CFS2. She's very flexible, but she's got some age on her and some limitations. I could describe myself in the same terms. Huh

There's got to be a reason that everyone seems to come home to CFS2, after wandering away to newer sims. Wink

I've just uploaded Cindy and Mr Period, and they should be available by tomorrow sometime. Roll Eyes

Sopwith's skins are soooooooo great......he covers up my sloppy work. Smiley

There are some breaking parts, but you have to hit her in the right places.....she can be broken, but she's no pushover. Grin
