I've just been offered 8 Venison legs for £40.
Is this too dear?

...an 8-legged Deer....
....
Sounds like a bargain, to me...
...!
On Hugh Fernley Withingstall's cooking Program tonight (River Cottage) a whole Deer carcase cost between £80 and £200 depending upon size.
He shot one, butchered it and cooked it for the Program.
Needed a few days to "hang" in the Shed. .....(the Deer...not Hugh...etc...etc...)...
...!
Very nice tho...

It depends... 8 deer legs aren't worth 40 pounds of anything of much value.

I bet my butcher £100 he couldn't reach the meat off the top shelf.
He wouldn't take the bet ... he said the steaks were too high.

Venison. Dear isn't it?
(the 4 word joke, courtesy of Mr Jimmy Carr, succeeded by the 3 word joke "Stationary store moves", before descending into the depths to see how offensive he could get before people left. I only saw two go. By then he was onto mid 20th century German tyrants...)
