Sort of a thread born of boredom here;  But here is a list of planes forthcoming, that I can't wait to see for FSX:

ConcordeX
SimCheck a300
Flight1 King Air

Planes which I don't expect I will ever see:
Dreamfleet 727X
RFP 747-200 for FSX (was one even planned?)
A DC-6 or 7 or 8
A 737-200

(I know there are plenty of freeware options out there, but I'm talking payware)

What say you?

From what I hear, Flight Sim Labs' Concorde is coming along very nicely, lets hope before Christmas.
As for RFP, I think they have broken up; or gone bust.

I don't know how the marketing logistics of this rather niche hobby play out, but I am always rather disapointed when I see something like the CLS 747 or the CS 727:  They are 'lite' products that don't capture the realism, but now anyone that may have been planning to do one of these airplanes the "hefty" way knows that their market share is potentially gone.  I have to hand it to Captain Sim...they release their products more as a work-in-progress (IMHO unfinished), and in doing so, corner the market because we all are like "oh look, a 727! a 727! yeah!!! gotta buy it today!)  And then, if you are a purist, you are immediately dissapointed.

I think Captain Sim use their early versions of their products as a form of "beta" before they release it to the other companies who sell it on, fixing the main flaws.

I wish we could one day see an FSX-Native 737-200. That would be awesome!

Forget the cigar tubes... Grin

I want to see a decent Cessna 195, F-86 Sabre, Cessna 170, and a Beechcraft Model 18 for FSX Cool

I seem to remember seeing a website where someone was building a new payware Beechcraft model 18 for FSX, but I can't seem to find it. Anyone know where I can find the website?

Each time some outfit comes out with a true FSX model, it's snapped up immediately (e.g. A2A J3) so why aren't there more out there?  I think they see a readymade market for their pimped up FS9/FSX-ready offerings and, as long as they're selling, true FSX will be a while yet.
