Not sure where this post goes and that's the problem with the folder.  In the general misery of reinstalling XP and rearranging stuff, a folder named 'images' is sitting under C:\.  The contents, a long list of sky and weather conditions; i.e. Clear-Fog-Haze-Mostly Cloudy-Overcast etc., each with an accompanying graphic.  It seems to belong in a Flightsim but don't know which, if at all.

If you give me an example of one of the files in this folder with its exact file name I'll have a search for it. Lots of sub-folders named Images in the FS9 directories. (I only have FS9.)

There's no files with those prefixes on my system (screen_0.jpg, screen_1.jpg etc). I can only assume they belong in FSX. Perhaps someone with FSX like ShaneG can run a search for you.

I do not have those but would think they are weather themes placed there by Active Sky or some type of texture enhancement program.

Have you installed anything like that?

Might right-click on one of the image files and look at the properties for clues to their origin.

cheers,
Joe

Don't argue with idiots, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Hey Joe
All I've added to this default FSX is SP1.  In my usual immaculate way, I installed both FS9 and FSX on the same drive with an incorrect file path so they essentially landed on top of each other - what a mess.  After I got this all sorted, here's this images folder without a home - sure looks like it belongs in FSX but I've lost my nerve.  Further investigation reveals that this may part of the FSX flight weather report tool which belongs in D:\fsx.exe - I, of course, have it in C:\  Smiley.  Those graphics are displayed to correspond with the weather report requested on the tool.  What's the best way to bring it home?
