Saw quite a few of those while at Cold Bay AK back in the early sixties.  Purely military cargoes, headed for the far east - 1961 - apparently something was brewing.

The FT were mostly built without cabin windows or service doors but a small number were built for FT with windows and all the doors so they could carry personel too on military charters also leasing or buying other aircraft with windows from Airlift and Seaboard in pax configuration if needed. Smiley
