Hi Guys new to this forum, and very new to repainting.
First off I sent a few pictures of the aircraft I wanted painted to my nephew as I was unfamiliar with Adobe paintshop cs 3.He sent back the texture in dds format but for the life of me I cant get it to replace the texture as it goes all haywire .( in other words every thing is there but in the wrong places.I am trying to repaint the default texture of the cessna 172 in fsx.
any help would be appreciated.
Kevy. Huh

Hi Kevy. Sounds like you need to flip the edited texture before saving it. You should be able to do that in DXTBmp. http://www.btinternet.com/~mnwright/programs/dxtbmp.htm

Hi kevy1. First of all, welcome to the forums! And second, in DXTBmp, load your image. Then click the image button in the menu strip. Click "Flip Image and Alpha." Save the image in the dds format by going to File > Save As > DDS Texture.

Hope this helps,
Brandon
