What FS ver are you using? Is the A/C is question for the right one?

Fairchild,

Hi and welcome to SimV.

Just a thought here....... you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.  Smiley

Sounds like you are having issues with getting stuff to work...... if you give more deatils some of the members here liekly will be able to assist you pretty quickly.

Can you give more info about what downloads seem to be the issue and what happens?  Also what specific sim (Combat Flight Sim ?, FS2004, FSX)?  And the machine you are using?

best,

................john

well I've got FSX and I'm trying to install some of the planes such as the C-130, Apache, and the Boat/hovercraft that includes the tank and other vehicles, and some of the missions aren't working either. I've tried everything I know to get the planes working.

and also we shouldn't have to type in a password at certian times in order to download what ever we're trying to download.

If you tell me the file names & exact page they're posted on I can check these files out for you.

From your original post you're having problems with military aircraft. Can I assume that you have successfully installed other types? FSX doesn't know the difference between between a military plane & any other type of aircraft.

No password is required to download any files from the free site. Please read this. http://www.simviation.com/accessprob.htm

A lot of people have difficulties learning addon installation, but people usually ask for help instead of attacking people and making demands. Heck, I had problems, and even some of the moderators when they first started getting into flightsim.

Pathetic arrogance won't get you far around here, so get down from your high pedestal. You're just a newbie here....
