Mic, you shouldn't be a sound engineer behind the scenes at stage shows... you should be up there below the lights yourself, you're a top notch comedian mate.

The way I've always done it, is by finding out the current retail price for each part, adding that together, then subtracting some due to the fact it's used. I sold a system with a Q6700, 7950GT, 2gb ram, 250gb hdd for $600 almost a year ago... I really can't imagine this system being worth much more than that. Do the research and math and that should do you well Smiley

Used computers are tougher to price than used cars  Cheesy

Consider that (here in the US), that a similar board, v-card, and RAM, topped with a Q8400 can be had for about $400, all new components..  go from there.

325 pommie dollars £

I found the lowest retail prices in Australia (or retail on ebay), halved the price of that, knowing everything in Australia is horribly marked up, I took away $100 from the total and converted it into pounds.

My methodology is probably really bad though. I would get all the (used) parts from ebay and add that up or something.
