I just buy this Wester Digital 1 tb disk 32 mb cache 3 gb/s, and now made two partition:

No. 1  with 250 G for OSXP 64
No. 2 with abt. 700 G for FS Sim X

I have other disk - Samsung HD 501 - 500 G 16 Mb cache  with nohting on.

What if I put OS on Samsung, and keep FSX alone on WD?
Will perform faster, or better keep two partition on the WD Black?

Thanks for help.

is you or your system

2 drives and never put a performance application that requires the highest speed access possible on a 2nd partition, ever

2nd partitions are for dead storage and backups..   1st partitions on phyical drives are for the OS and the applications which have a high storage system demand, and FSX will definitely run worse having a hard drive head physically seek across a OS to find the files on a 2nd/3rd partition.

you would be better off installing FSX to C with the OS than putting it on a 2nd partition. None the less, the best way to run FSX is on its own drive
