Thanks, EJW and Daube!.  I love flying NM1 about New Mexico.  A quick IFR from Albuquerque to Santa Fe is one of the quickest, challenging, most scenic flights in fs.  And if you are a good enough pilot, try a visual landing at Los Alamos, instead of Santa Fe!  Sometimes ABQ Departure vectors me over the Sandia Mountains, just north of KABQ.  It is scenic, as you clear the mountains by a few hundred feet, but not a likely departure in real life, obviously.  Here's a few pics:

Woah! Nice pics!! I got stuck on top of Sandia Peak once when the cablecar broke down in a thunderstorm. Good thing that the bar was open!

Cheesy

Here's one of my splashscreens taken on climbout over Sandia Peak.

Thanks!  I have driven by there many a time, but never been up there.  I was surprised that I didn't have to download any mesh in fsX to get them.  it seems I had to in fs2002 and fs9.  Those conifer trees that fs puts in there are so accurate too, for New Mexico.  The mountains there are loaded with those Pinon Pines that smell so good.  They put those TV towers right where they are, too.
