I'm looking at upgrading to Windows 7 soon (hopefully) and I'm trying to decide which version to get.  With the upgrade to Vista (if you can call it that), I went with Ultimate for the features, but according to this Windows 7 Version Comparison, it seems that the Home premium has everything I want and anything more wouldn't be worth it since I don't have any XP productivity programs, I'm not on a network, and I only use one language.  The bitlocker seems like it might be useful, but not worth an extra $100.  Does anyone know if there is any other advantages to upgrading to professional or ultimate that aren't listed on that page?

Home Premium should be enough although I went with Ultimate because of the Windows XP mode, and also Bitlocker.

I'll be getting the ultimate edition, mostly because I need the German language pack...

...but the bitlocker program, I have it right now for Vista Ultimate, and its the most unused thing on this computer...

...unless you're committing computer felonies or running classified documents* you shouldn't have a use for it.

Thanks for the info guys, looks like I'll stick with the home premium version for now.
