You are the Repainting God, Boikat. I'd like to see a contest between you and patchz. You'd agree by conversation (you two talk about it) or by poll (we vote) on which airplane to repaint and y'all go at it. In a week or two, you present your result and we vote by poll which one wins. Might even be the genesis for a new kind of SimV contest...

I am homebrewer. I had 633 posts when for some unknown reason, my account disappeared...

But I'm glad you like the paint job! Wink

I'm not against a "paint contest", as such, mind you, as long as it was an *open* contest, with some reasonable guidelines, and any re-painter that wanted to could participate in it.

Now that the above is out of the way, I can make the comment I was going to make about the shot before I saw the other posts.

Absolutely PERFECT! The design of the aircraft and layout of the logo could not have matched any better. Great job Roy.

After looking at it some more I decided it is so good, I think Bud would actually like to use it their ads. I suggest you try to contact them. Good luck.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

But, what the heck. One of my very first repaints (long since deleted, messed it up pretty good) was a U. S. NABY Tomcat.

P. S. That reminds me of the scene in an old movie, "Atomic Bus", or "The Big Bus", I think the name was (A spoof of desaster movies from the mid 1970's). The bus line logo was a running coyote. When they wheeled the dying designer of the bus out to see it's unveiling, he sat up, looked at the bus and said, "Why is the Coyote pointed backwards?", then flopped back onto the gurney and died.

The Bud was the alternative path I choosed when I had to cure my addiction to Desperado (it was making me sick).
It was back in my university years. The years have passed... now I drink only "real" beer Wink

(but still I enjoy a little bud from time to time)

Maybe so, but I think Bush's lawyers are used to handling copyright stuff. It's just a matter of contact, bargaining, and agreement. It's done all the time.
