This is 'BlueSkyScenery's'  "Mt Rainier", a 3 gig download for FS9.  This pic shows it over Megascenery payware "Pacific Northwest" and the reverse is worse.  Disabled the underlying Megascenery - not much change.  Although doing it fairly close in, the scenery loads OK 'til reaching the mountain then it starts tiling.  Got an Intel dual core 2.8/8800GTS/650W/XP and ideas would be most welcome.                                     ...

Have you visited their site?

They do mention that the Season must be set to Summer for their offerrings.

Missed the part about Summer only so gave that a try.  Definite improvement, especially since I approached from the east side this time.  Though l circled around, the west side only partially loaded so a query to the bluesky guys may be in order.  The parts that are good are very, very good.  Thanks for the tip.

I've never seen anything like that. Can you show us a similarly-sized Summer shot?

Here's one approaching from the east.  The appropriate Megascenery portions are disabled and it went well 'til I was almost on it.  Then it got hesitant and around the other side it still showed some of that tiling effect - not as much though.                ...

Contacted Mr Razek and received a speedy reply.  As on his site, he advised using this scenery at "noon during Summer".  He also recommended using 'pause' to allow the scenery to catch up.  I've found that, if you don't get too close, it works fine - that's a lot of pixels trying to breathe free  Smiley.
