i had to zoom in to really get the moon to look good, wish there was a real way to resize the moon; i think there is, but i will have to go look for it.  Maybe in Scenery.cfg.

but if you want the HI-REZ MOON, here is the one I am working with...

Hi REZ moon for FS2004 8 and 9 down in the list.  (or the last 3 on the page if you want JUPITER as a moon)....[sorry, URANUS is just too big to be a moon] jk

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

I'd like to do that too, but I didn't see anything in any .cfg where one could do that (I did't even see a .cfg in "scenery").

ok, sorry, its not the scenery.cfg..... its :::

(drive):/Microsoft Games/FS9/suneffect.cfg

[general]
SunSize=1400
MoonSize=2072
SunTexture="sun.bmp"
LensFlareCount="10"
RenderCorona="1"
RenderGlow="1"
RenderMoonCorona="1"

*we* might have to play with this to make the moon bigger.

I tried changing the value to 4144 and it didn't make a bit of difference in FSX.
