Looks interesting, can't wait to see how it turns out. Do you have a general sketch of the whole aircraft that you can show us or is all in your head for now? Cheesy

When it eventually becomes time, I would be happy to beta test for you. Wink

Thanks, It's all in the head, and my goal is to greate a medium sized business jet with swing wings capable of MACH 1.6 more or less, with max altitude of 51000ft. It is my first creation, as well as model, so there wil be a zillion hickups, tests, and even more time to it! Will take you up on your offer to beta test  Smiley

I'd love to beta test too, and it sounds like a neat concept.
But before you give me one of your airplanes, I fell like I should warn you: I fly every plane like a fighter! Grin Grin Grin

Ok, I'm looking for inspiration! This is my idea for the intake/engine system. but what engines can i use? I am thinking of the Northrop F-5 Freedom Fighter, and use 4 of those tine engines???
Dont want to go with external engines. it is so everyday!

Its starting to take shape, I love the nose reminds of the Sukhoi T-4. Just wondering where you were planning on mounting the wings?

Excellent. It reminds me of the Rockwell B-1B. Before going much further may I suggest you try exporting it to FS. You would be amazed at the number of people who create beautiful detailed 3D models in Gmax only to run into problems during the export process.

Depending on the version of FS this is for you should find all the tools you need in the appropriate SDK. I've lost touch with all this now so will leave the details to others.

Ahhh goooogle! amazing what you can find! got the Gmax SDK pack as well as the BGL comp pack. ok I only have FS9, so i dont have much of a choice. But then, if i do for FS9, I might as well take up Mitch and RaptorF22's offer of beta test in FSX as well.  but that is still a LONG way!

Thanks for the help!
