Ive done a complete system reload.  Had my VRap 150 go cluck on me.  This one had the OS on it.  I ordered another 300 VRap, cloned my backup OS drive to it and was back in business.  However, I had some errors in the OS and simply did a reload.  Of everything.  OS, FSX, other games...Everything.

Using Vista Ultimate x64.  Everything was going good until I loaded nHancer.  Using NVidia 190.62 driver x64 and nHancer 2.5.1.  When starting nHancer I get the following error:

Error reading XML file 'C:\Windows\system32\nvapps.cml':  There is an error in XML document (847, 47).

Anybody got a clue?

nHancer does start after clicking OK on the above error button, but any setting I try to change in the settings area gives me this error:

Error writing application registry settings:  Couldn't determine checksum for C:\Users\Brian\AppData\Local\Virtual Store\ProgramData\NVIDIA\nvap ps.xml

nHancer is the last in my line of tweaking for getting my machine in top-flight condition.  Most of the stutters, jaggies and blurries in FSX clear right up and my perf settles down to my satisfaction with it.  And windos seems to look better as well.

Im road blocked.

Thankie

nHancer 2.5.1 doesn't work with the newest 190.xx drivers.

You're gonna need the second beta of the next nHancer:

The settings are the same, no different, and shown in the FSX tuning thread

Caught that myself.  Thought I saw a link for tuning with the new nHancer UI.  Just had to bounce around til I got all the settings fixed.

Thought I was going crazy with the 2.5.1 nHancer and the new driver.  Just wouldn't work.

Sure cant run FSX without it.  Though Im still getting jaggies at close range.  On AI aircraft and such.  My bird looks good and smooth from external, but looking out at AI birds and buildings, they are a bit jaggy.

Back to the tweaking.
