Just noticed this yesterday and thought it was me doing something wrong.
When I post a reply in any of the forums and I want to return to read other topics in that forum or go to another forum it won't let me go back.
I have to scroll to the top of the page, logout and get back in.
It only happens when I post a reply or start a new topic, not when I am reading other members posts.

Hi Doug. Good to see you here again.
I've been posting continually throughout the forum update. Can't say I've noticed this problem.

Hi Doug it is good to be back.
This never happened before and now since I posted this reply it will not let me leave this spot. I will have to scroll up and logout and then login.

I just noticed at the very top of my computer screen several buttons I never notice before.
I just hit "Compatibility View" so now I shall try to exit this post.
If this works I need a "Raise".

Sorry Dave, I have no idea. I think Doug has Vista so assume it's something to do with IE8.
PS. Check this out.

That's odd. I use the current version of Firefox & never had a problem posting in the forum.

Good afternoon all...
Got the same problem again even tried the "Compatibility View" several times.
I now have to Log Out after posting a new topic or reply and then Log In.
These electronic gizmo"s hate me I tell you.

Doug. Let's go back to the beginning. Instead of clicking the Back button on your Browser after posting a message try clicking the Home link on the forum menu.

Tell me if it works for you. That's how I've always done it & I've never had a problem.

I can't take the credit. ShaneG read the question properly in a similar topic.

As I've always used the Home link I assumed that everyone else did too. Moral: Never assume anything.

How true Doug.
I just read the above link twice and Pete's reply. Now that I have thought about that it does make a lot of sense. The back button will take you back to the previous post and not exit you from the location you are in.
I wonder why it worked so well for so many years for me unless it was when Pete did the upgrade things changed.
Again thanks for your help.
Oh by the way it is only 46 degrees F today, coat time but next week it will be back to the 70 degree F weather. We have our heat on and it is not even the middle of October yet.
