I had no problems with WinRar & Izarc.

I've ran into files that will open with no problems with several zip programs and then one will say it's no good. I think it's just one of those things where the variables keep you on your toes Paul.

I've run into this problem very occasionally. Probably less than 5 files out of literally thousands I've checked out over the years. I put it down to the utility the author used to zip it up.
I'm downloading the file now to check it out. Will report back later.

..legs crossed, Doug...
Normally I "install" files to my Desktop if possible, and then drag them from there to my correct FS 2004 Folders...
...but this one insists on installing to......"somewhere"...

As reported, the Windows compressed folders utility & WinZip7 told me the file is corrupt. Both ALZip & WinRAR had no problems with it. That's when the fun started.
I ended up with an incomplete version of the Trislander with the wrong textures & no Panel folder. I ran the included EXE file to see what happened. A window opened telling me it had been installed but I have no idea where it went.
Sorry Paul. I hate admitting it but this one has beaten me.

This file requires that you have the base BN-2N package installed, and the installer adds this package to the base pack, much like the PMDG installers do.
We have the base package here, somewhere, I'll dig it up if you're still interested.

Just to add my 2% of a dollar, if I may.
Corrupted downloads can sometimes be attributed to a user having not cleaned out their browser cache for a while.
I recommend a program called CCleaner for this. Does a good job, in my opinion.

Joe

Thanks Shane. I finally got it working by installing the Aurigny model (GXTOR32G.zip) - then adding the Bluestar textures manually in the usual way. It would have been much easier if the author had done it this way to start with. It would also be a much smaller download.
The INI file in the Bluestar repaint isn't set up correctly. I hate these complex auto-installers with a vengeance.

Thanks and sorry for the trouble. This file gave me no reason to check it out as it looked fine. I have now modified the file and linked to the required base file.
Thanks Shane for deciphering this!
(BTW --
Izarc
seems to unzip anything without problem. It's the best zip utility I have found -- & I've tried 10's)
