HI,

I am looking at building a 5 computer network for running FSX. I am building a dual seat trainer 737 sim.

My question is with regards to the OS. My server is going to be XP Pro 64 bit on a i7 965 system. My other 4 computer are P4's 3.0 GHz with XP 32 bit. Do I have to have all computers running the same 32 bit or 64 bit or can I use them together as long as they are the same OS ??????

     Thanks in advance,

     Larry

Larry,

Nice to see another cockpit builder here on SimV.

Can't help you with that particular question.... I run XP 32 bit on all the networked machines.

Stop down to the homebuild section when you get a chance...and please share what you are doing with all of us.

best,

I use XP 64 on my i7 and XP32 on the networked, slower computers. No issues. Just make sure the workgroup is all the same.
