We all rightly know that the Traffic Police of Great Britain are justly proud of their high performance pusuit vehicles of years not so distant.
A couple of years ago Two Trafic cops were parked on the hard shoulder of the M11 northbound, looking for business to come their way, their they were parked with the engine running of their new High Powered Jaguar XJ 5.4ltr Turbo-charged car.
When their on-board Vascar Pings that a vehicle is approaching at above the speed limit, and looking at the screen on-board they are amazed to see a speed recording of 118 mph. And looking up in time to see a white vehicle going past a this great rate of speed. So they turn onto the M11 from their hard shoulder place and start to pursue the offending vehicle which can been seen in the distance, still travelling at a great rate of speed. They radio, if anyone else is available to stop this pursuit, as they do not seem able to catch the vehicle ahead. Another car radio's that they are 15 miles ahead and will slow down to allow the pursuit to catch up. And sure enough after about 5mins they spot the offending car approaching in their rearview mirror, so start to manouver in to position to help the first car to put a stop to this speeding motorist. Upon getting the offending vehicle to stop on the hard shoulder, they are completely gob-smacked to see before them a SKODA 120GLS and when they ask the driver just what sort of engine modifications he had done to the car, to be able to travel at those sorts of speeds. They are further gob-smacked to hear from the 58 year old driver/owner, that in fact this was a totally stock car with no modifications of any sort. And that he was in a hurry to get home as his wife had just gone into labour with their first child, and she was 54 years old. the embarresment of it was they had just used a very high performance Jag to try and stop a SKODA.
The airplane is just a bunch of sticks and wires and cloth, a tool for learning about the sky and about the kind of person I am when I fly. An airplane stands for freedom, for joy for the power to understand and to demonstrate that understanding. Those thing are not destructable ( Richard Bach )

I guess this is a joke only the English can understand.....
"I have a place where dreams are born, And time is never planned. It’s not on any chart, You must find it with your heart."
Albert Einstein - "Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe."
Martin Luther King Jr. - “Nothing in the world is more dangerous than a sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.”
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe - “There is nothing worse than aggressive stupidity.”
Mark Twain - “Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.”

Well, not really...
Did you ever gear the old DooWop era song about the little Nash Rambler (
Beep, Beep
)? In this case, the SKODA = the Nash Rambler.
