Interesting to note patterns in the flight paths, if these actually are the accurate flight paths.  Noticed a few heading over the north pole, that would be fun.

I remember reading a book by an Air Canada pilot, he said they flew over the north pole in their A345 from Toronto to Hong Kong and Tokyo. There was something they had to caution due to radiation from the sun.. can someone else elaborate on this?

I think I've heard of that too.  Something about the Earth's magnetic field not being as protective from the sun's radiation near the poles.
