I get the blurred ground texture once in a while.  I just slow down or wait for it to clear up.  I haven't noticed the menu disappearling though.

Yes I do get this. Angry Around high detialed airports while in complex aircraft with relatively high settings, I suspect memory issue?

I had this in the Bahamas the other day... I was at 11,000 ft up in the air and the ground was blurry as hell... No menu disappearing though... I freaked! I just created a new fsx.cfg and all was good... Wink

Letting the sim write a new cfg will usally help with the menu isssue, as far as the blurries go, tweeking the cfg and your system helps with that.

Nope.  It doesn't seem to be related with FPS either.  It only happens with high detail areas.

I have some of those symptoms from time to time:
- textures gets completely blurry
- Antialiasing goes away
- Autogen dissapears
- reloading the scenery doesn't help
- and finally, the FPS drop until the final PC crash.

=> my video card is overheating.
