Hello everyone. After losing in the first round of the Head2Head competition (to a composite),
and after seeing all the composites entered, I decided to take up the art myself. Here goes...!

I took the beaver from a shot I recently took flying in Alaska, and the image from somewhere online.

...

Please give me your HONEST feedback. Don't be afraid.. this is
my first composite edit ever and I WANT to learn. Thanks!

Ah crap I totally forgot about the prop... I kept reminding myself as I worked on the rest of the image but I was so excited to have it done that I forgot it  Grin Grin

Very nice, I like it alot! As RAFleigh said... the prop. But thats easy to forget about when working with a composite.

As for the reflection, you could either add a slight ocean ripple effect to what you already have, or use a plugin called "flood". It allows you to place a sort of horizon line, and everything below it will reflect whatever is above the line. In your shot, there is a distinct water line which would be perfect for this. You can get it here

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

That looks excellent! Well done! Flood is such a neat tool to work with, you can do so much with it.
