G'day guys,

Another silly question I know - but I was just curious as to how I can make AI aircraft NOT appear in the the drop-down menu in Fs2004?

Not a big issue - it's just a little annoying Wink

Thanks fellas

Stew,

You need to edit the .air file. Easily done using the AirEd utility.

Find line '105-*Aircraft Type='. Change the value to 2. (0=flyable 2=nonflyable-ai)

Download Aired 1.42 here: http://www.simviation.com/fsdesign_utilities.htm

Dave

Note: Though not necessary, there is a later version, 1.52, but didn't find it on SimV. Search other sites for Aired by William Roth.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.          Igor Sikorsky

You know....you can just rip up a to-do list.
