ShaneG's Chile Tour

Hop 8

SCNT - SCCI

WHEN: Saturday July 25th at 3:00pm EST / 8:00pm GMT

WHERE: fs.netfrag.org

PLANES: Small props / pilots choice (I'll be using the Angel 44 here in the FS9 props section. in one of my many fine repaints. {shameless plug} Wink

)

WEATHER: real world (as always. Wink

)

SIM TIME: I fly at dawn for the sunrises in the mountains, but it's your choice.

OTHER NOTES: FS9 users, the SRTM mesh from Simviation makes a BIG difference in the terrain. There should be a mesh here for FSX as well.

This is the last hop of the tour, some nice looking lake country below us as we make our way in to Carlos Ibanez Del Campo Intl; Sounds like my favorite guitar. Wink

A nice flight if you forget about the connection problems that plagued us once we got halfway there.

That final approach through the clouds was pretty fun too!

It was a nice flight aside from that. The crosswind approach in the fog treated my empty B-29 like a giant kite. Grin
