I just got IL-2: 1946 and I'm VERY impressed with it. Smiley  It's got a bit of a learning curve, but it runs at max settings flawlessly on my system and looks GREAT! Cool  I'll have some screens soon too. Smiley

Carefull with the other sims, gentlemen.
I have tried Lomac, and uninstalled it after 10 minutes... I can't stand non-clickable cockpits anymore.
Same went with Strike Fighter: Project 1.
IL-2 lasted a bit longer thanks to its exceptionnal quality (at that time), but it's gone now. No pleasure for me in those dead cockpits. I'd rather interact with my plane than interact with my guns.

That's what FS is for. Wink  I've spent years clicking buttons, now I want to blow stuff up.  Grin
Point A to point B is getting old, and I need a change of pace to break up the monotony of FS. Roll Eyes

Do they have one where you can do both? Huh

Yes, it's called Black Shark, it's an addon for LockOn, where you can pilot the russian attack helicopter.

You're talking to a guy that thinks that:
- Doom2 and Dark Forces are the greatest games ever for shooting stuff
- Grand Prix Legends is the most exciting driving experience ever made, the only game were the engine power has to be feared
- Star Wars Racer and Deathkarz are the only valid arcade racing games
- Little Big Adventure and Little Big Adventure 2 are the most perfect mixture of adventure and action
- Monkey Island 3 is the best point and click ever.

FSX, Oblivion and Richard Burns Rally are the only "modern" games on my computer. When I will buy a new computer, it WILL HAVE to run ALL those games.

i agree with most of that, i mean majority of new games i install are gone a week later. Old school games such as half Life and Doom2 will never go as they defined a genre and are classics!!

Morrowind... that must be the game I played the most in my gamer-life. I think I played it for almost a year, almost everyday  Shocked
Oblivion is quite similar, but more complete, even more enjoyable, with a real medieval-fantastic look. I love it.
