Nice paint job, aircraft, and angle, but compression hurt the shot.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

The Sky Unlimited 109 is by far my favorite of FS WWII birds.
I agree with Patchz on this one.
Lovely angle and lighting, but compression is evident, and at only 129kb, you could have saved a bit more of it.
What program are you using for compressing to upload here?
I'm also very torn on your choice of color for the border.
On one hand, it does match the yellow in the plane, it has a great striking contrast to it that calls attention to the shot, but unfortunately, it also calls too much attention to itself, and away from the main focus of the shot.
Maybe see what it looks like in white, silver, or grey?
Overall, I'm giving it a 7.
The detail and quality of the paint & plane carry this shot a lot, but it still took your compositional skills to set everything up, and decide when to take it.
Very fine job.

thank you very much for the comments,
i use photoshop CS2 for the resize and editing, but use picasa afterwards to apply a little bit of sharpening. i found that the sharpening in CS2 is sometimes too much. maybe a plugin would solve that problem. Otherwise i just love playing with photoshop, and just posted this poll to bring a little bit of a break in the normal "just another screenshot" post

You must remember in an open public poll, that the results may be a little skewed.
Always go by the posted comments more than the poll results.
Anyone can be an asshole in an anonymous poll, and vote low.
True, helpful, constructive criticism, must be typed out.
Search 'xero plugins' and 'Flaming Pear plugins' for Photoshop.
They are free, and will do things that will amaze you.

All-in-all a very good shot. I give it 9.
The shot may benefit if you add some light.

An 8, like the detail of the plane but some scenery would be nice or if you want a sky shot add a detailed moon and i'd give it a 9.
Very nice job.
