I noticed Saitek came out with some new products in the latest Sporty's catalog...
Pro Flight Radio Panel

Pro Flight Multi Panel

And these have been around for a couple of months or so...

I've seen the last two on their site for a while. The first two are new though. They look very cool.

It is nice to see a new player in the cockpit building supplier pool. This stuff is good for those who are looking more "generic" in their approach to a pit.

Boy that stuff isn't cheap is it?!
It would make things nice though, especially those gauges.
A full set of everything there, plus the controls, mounted in the right framing project, and you could have one hell of a nice sim pit in a hurry.
Just bring a full wallet.

In comparison to a lot of stuff, Go-Flight for example, they are a give away, especially if you don't have to by in Sterling.
I have the flight yoke and throttle combo. In Euros they were almost on to one............good old rip off Britain

I'd love to have those radios, the multi panel and the switch panel (drool-drool-drool), but I'm not too sure about that instrument panel. Since I've started learning to fly, I've gotten used to actually doing the active scan method of checking gauges. If I can't see several (at least 3) of them in one glance, I tend to start focusing on a single gauge and then ignoring the others; tantamount to suicide in a real cockpit. I think having that panel would induce just that situation, since you would tend to only switch to a gauge when you needed to use it for something.
And what about turn coordination? How am I supposed to keep my hands on the yoke and throttle, and still have the ability to switch the instrument panel between the turn coordinator and the HSI? I'd rather just stick with my trusty Active Camera, that allows me to use the mouse to look around and zoom in on the gauges in the VC. Yeah, it's a little less real, but it keeps me from zoning in on a single gauge.

The solution to your problem is simple Travis... don't buy one instrument panel, buy 6.
Basically it's what Saitek wants anyway, you buy 6 and have all the instruments displayed at once.
I'm thinking that these are probably going to be real useful to simpit builders as standby instruments. It will also be interesting to see what folks come up with by using the SDK... lots of possibilities.

I have just recieved two of the Pro Flight Instruments and have had no luck getting them running yet. To top it all off the new software has wiped out the prompt to start my Go-Flight systems. I have removed the Saitek software and I have had no luck so far restoring my Go-Flight equipment. I am hoping to use these new add ons as back-up instuments for my GA jet pit. If successful I will report back on these new products

I ' been waiting for information like what you gave for long time, though, so sad to hear these.
I just bought Goflight MCP and saitek panels, and they are on their way. Do you mean they can not work together in Fsx? I did ask sales about this question before I bought them, he said yes they can....
eager to hear more information from you
thanks

I have been away for a while so sorry for the late reply. I have solved the issue with these products. The only thing is that Saitek instruments cause my main display to be very jerky. My frame rates are not affected acording to the read out but it is clearly affecting FSX. I have got everything to work after contacting the Saitek rep in the US but I have not had time to work out the jerkyness in my display. For now the Saitek instuments are unplugged. They look great when plugged in.
I hope this helps. If you do have trouble with installing these pieces of hardware let me know and I will post the fix.

Interesting information on the potential compatibility and the "jerkiness" issue. Thanks for the posting.
Keep us informed on your experiences.
And yes... Saitek wants you to but the full sixpack... of COURSE they do. After all ... they are in BUSINESS.
And yes... they look like good potential simpit backups,
best,

I am having the same problem. I am getting Goflight to work by creating a shortcut to the AIBridge. However Saitek Instrument panel lights up but goes no further than the advertising screens. Could you place how you got it to work please or send me an email.
cheers

SASOZ,
Hi and welcome to SimV and the "Homebuild Cockpits" forum section.
Can you please explain what you mean by the above quote? To my knowledge AIBridge's function is solely to inject traffic table data from multiplayer into the core FS2004 sim so that you can see the other players aircraft on the radar as if they were regular AI planes.
What do you mean that you are using it for related to Goflight gear?
best,
