I recently downloaded a panel (built by FS Panel Studio) for a Beech 1900D (Mike Stone model). The panel cfg included the VCockpit specs but the VC doesnt show up when I go to fly the aircraft. I've compared the 1900D panel cfg to the KingAir cfg and the only noticable differences are:

1900D contains:

[VIEWS]
VIEW_FORWARD_WINDOWS=MAIN_PANEL,GPS_PANEL,RAD

IOS,20,50,225,330,450,
480,500,560,600,650,700,10004,10005

VIEW_FORWARD_DIR=2.000, 0.000, 0.000

whereas the KingA doesn't have a [Views] section.

The 1900D shows:
[Vcockpit01]
Background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=1024,1024
pixel_size=1024,1024
Visible=0
texture=$panL

the KingAir shows:
[VCockpit01]
size_mm=512,512
pixel_size=512,512
texture=$Kingair_1
background_color=0,0,0

I thought the Visible=0 in the 1900D might be the culprit but I changed it to Visible=1 (no effect) and then deleted it altogether (also no effect). So I changed it back to the original (still nothing). I can't seem to find any magical switch to turn the 1900D VC on. So can anyone offer some advice? Do you need more info? Huh

In FS9, the VC must be modeled into the plane for it to have one, regardless of what panel you use.

In FSX they are separate model files, so it's possible to add & change them.

None of Mike Stone's planes have VCs.
