Located about 30 miles WNW of Seattle, Golden Eagle Flying Ranch is a very friendly place.
There is a float plane dock.
There's no hustle and bustle here.

Don't worry, he's a local pet and has been de-skunked.

Lou is a great cook and they put more on the plate than you can hold.

They also have a sailplane strip and the thermals are very good.

Lots of beautiful scenery to see. Careful, he is very protective.

At night, the strip is lit by torches. Very romantic.

Lou's is open at night too.

More of that 'scenery'.

Hope you enjoyed the tour.
If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

I thought so too.
I also thought someone might want the link so I looked it up and made a note just in case.

Well OK. I've got it installed. But now I can't find it. You said about 30mi NNW of Seattle. Any chance that you might have the coordinates?
Thanks Bob

Not NNW, WNW. And it's due West of Apex Airpark, WA05. This should help you Bob. Enjoy.

Crap! Thanks Patchz. Thats why I'm sometimes called "Wrong Way Bob"
I've been flying around for the last hour or so in the pouring rain looking for it.
Took a few shots. Will post them in a little while in freeware. Nothing special.

No problem, glad I could help. I love it when I find scenery, or aircraft, that somebody besides me likes. And I have taken more than my share of 'wrong turns' in my life. Besides, based on the shots you posted in freeware, it looks like you had a nice trip anyway. Sometimes those wrong turns get you the nicest surprises.
